Litterally last day submission lol. I have two practical redstone contraptions for you guys. Both are in my base right now! While I understand that the limit is 1 contraption I did not feel right leaving one or the other out. If I had to pick one out of the two featured in this post, it would be the Elevator since its a more advanced use of redstone mechanics and flying machine technology. HOWEVER, to those judging, feel free to pick the one yall like the most!

Coordinates: X:691 Y:79 Z:-5076 (for door), X:622 Y: 79 Z:-5075 (for elevator)
Brief Description: Two practical-but-satisfying Builds for your viewing pleasure. 
The first two screenshots is the concealed 6x6 flying machine piston stickyblock door (sorry for the long name, I suck at names).
The next Three screenshots will focus on the base’s E L E V A T O R.
You read that right. An actual 4x4 elevator made from the same flying machine technology that made the giant hidden door. You may need to enter spectator mode to examine the full mechanism. Access tunnels have been created to allow judges to see most of the circuitry.
Obligatory Favorite TV cowboy: Rango (Since it is the only correct answer.)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Very long description owo:
Once tp’d to the coordinates, there will be a lever on a tree! When activated, a 1 by 1 hole will be opened right next to it. Once it’s open, you need to drop down in that hole, landing on a 4x2 plaftorm.
There will be many trapdoors above the platform, and when you are ready, close all of them, making you 1 block tall temporarily. Once on the platform, shift on the corner of the left light blue carpet, and press the button to your left. A 4 by 4 door will open, and when it’s opened, flick the lever right next to the button. After a couple seconds of cool sounds :), the platform will start moving!
After a long and boring trip, the platform will stop at a mountain, with a little path leading to another hole! Once you jump in it, you will land on a big room, with a sand wall! You will see a lever on the right wall, and after flicking it, a cute surprise will show up behind the sand wall!

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Huge chunk of redstone. It wasn’t specified it had to be a machine, so I decided to make a huge solid redstone chunk. It’s creative, okay???
Planning on expanding this to fill a whole entire chunk in the future :)
