Ideas for New WoolWars Kits

Caveman
Start with a stone sword. You can sacrifice any stone sword, including this one, to gain Sharpness I on a stone sword in your inventory and apply the Stab ability to it, which allows you to right-click every other hit on someone to “stab” them, knocking them back ~2-3 blocks and dealing no damage. However, when you consume the stone sword, you get nausea for the rest of the game.

Ingame Description: “Start with a stone sword. Sacrifice a stone sword to become nauseous but gain a stab ability and sharpness I on another stone sword.”
Gambler
Gain a random chest every other kill. This chest can contain one of eight random custom items:

  1. Firework Rockets: Spawn around the nearest player to you, revealing where they are.
  2. Temporary Hoverboard: Right-click to fly for 5 seconds. One-time use.
  3. Titan’s Hammer: Deals +12 attack damage. You take 50% of this damage. Disappears upon the first kill done with it.
  4. Portal x2: One portal links to the other portal.
  5. Poop: When picked up, instantly explodes, dealing 6 hearts of damage to the victim.
  6. Another random chest
  7. Court: Right-click to place down a fully-built, 10 x 5 x 20 courtroom. Cannot be placed in areas where it would spawn outside the map. Useful for breaking falls.
  8. Horned Helmet: Diamond helmet w/ Thorns V and Unbreaking III.

Ingame Description: “Gain a randomized chest on kill!”
Minotaur
Shift for 10 seconds straight without moving or taking to damage to charge forward ~8 blocks, also getting launched up ~2 upon charging. Any players hit in your charge (hit can be within a range of ~1 block so that it’s possible) get launched up ~5 blocks and to the side ~3 blocks and take 7 damage (3 hearts - true damage means it ignores armor). Has a 60 second cooldown.

Ingame Description: “Shift for 10 seconds to launch yourself forward, knocking back players in your path!”
Pandora
Spawn with an enchanted chest in your inventory called “Pandora’s Box.” Left-click on any mob with this to trap it in the box. When you place the box down, it is consumed and all of the mobs are released where you placed it, though the chest itself is not placed.

Ingame Description: "Left-click on mobs with your box to trap them within - place the chest to consume it and summon all the mobs that have been trapped within.
Plane
You have a plane set up above the Wool Wars arena to bomb people. Start out with an enchanted TNT block in your inventory. Right-clicking this enchanted TNT spawns an ignited TNT that blows up in 1 second on a random player with a 60 second cooldown, and gives them a warning. The twist is that this random player could be you, and if it is you, you won’t get a warning!

Ingame Description: “Right-click on your TNT to bomb a random person - even you!”
Shaman
Gain a wolf on kill. When you take damage, all of your wolves take damage equal to 50% of the damage you took. Wolves have 12 HP and deal 4 damage. If a wolf is too far from you, they teleport back to you.

Ingame Description: “Gain a wolf on kill that takes half the damage you do.”
Silverfish
Right-click on a sandstone block to hide inside of it, taking no sandstone damage and double suffocation damage, but being unable to do anything. You can shift to leave the sandstone block and retain immunity to sandstone for another second so that you can place a block and actually leave the stone. However, if the sandstone block you are in is mined, you are instantly killed. Also, if you spend a total of a minute in the sandstone, even if it is in different hiding instances, you are instantly killed. (Maybe a bar to show how much time you have been in the sandstone?)

Ingame Description: “Hide safely inside sandstone via right-clicking on it. Shift to leave, with immunity for 1 second. If the block you are hiding in is mined, you will instantly die - if you spend a total minute in sandstone, you die!”

Too op.

This is Woolwars, not KitPvP.

ok but which one

Every single one

ok but in what way

Too op. Sharp 3 stone is about as good as a diamond sword, also the knockback is unbalanced

Also way too OP. True damage is very unbalanced. this kit is basically a free win

I like this idea actually. I think it would make a good kit

Unbalanced as well. 0.5 seconds is way too quick

I like this idea. However is needs to be balanced

This is WAY too op. its a free win for anybody willing to camp for 10min. This kits only weakness would be a glider who could happen to catch them before sandstone rises on top of the block they are hiding in.

Knockback is a very unstable subject. All the platforms on most of the maps are very small. Even the grandpa kit is sometimes too much knockback. some of the kits you are suggesting have knockback 3-5 abilities with no cooldown.

Caveman: Ok. Is sharp 3 -> sharp 1 stone sword, the ability now deals no damage and only knocks them back ~2-3 blocks. Is that good?
Minotaur: Ok. Shift for 5 -> 10 seconds straight without moving or taking damage (this includes snowballs and eggs) to charge forward ~10 -> 8 blocks, getting launched up ~2 upon charging. Any players hit in your charge get launched up ~7 -> 5 blocks and to the side ~5 -> 3 blocks and take 7 regular damage, on top of any fall damage. Has a 30 -> 60 second cooldown.
Plane: Ok, how about 0.5 -> 1 second and it also gives a warning for people who get targeted by the TNT (it doesn’t give the warning if you target yourself, though).
Shaman: Ok. Is it too weak or too strong, and in what way?
Silverfish: Ok. I made it so that when you’re in the sandstone block, you take double suffocation damage, encouraging you to leave the sandstone, and you also die if a total minute is spent in the sandstone (this doesn’t mean if you spend 1 minute during one instance of hiding - for example, if you were to hide in the sandstone for 20 seconds, then leave and later hide for 40 seconds, you would lose 5 max hearts).

Edit: What about Gambler?

Gambler too op as well! It’s pretty easy to get kills on woolwars -

Ok I made it every other kill - should I make it every third kill?
