I got pretty lucky and didn’t have to grind too much to get into c1. I found a couple epics outside and sold them for 300k, which was pretty much enough by themselves to get me there. Now whats the best course of action? I can’t afford a farm and whenever I try to invis loot past zone 4 I either get killed or found out by a stacked group and killed. Should I just mine for ages? The best pick I have right now is a deputy pick that I upgraded from a miner’s pick. Any suggestions?

If you have time, mine, if you don’t have much time /warp melon and farm the coca beans, they sell for quite a lot now. Warp wood is a huge pvp zone, but practice avoiding people and it can make good money.

Getting an epic pick/axe (Preferably a bruce wayne or a hulks axe) is a good way to earn safe money.
You can also try invis wood cutting but it is inconsistent in the amount of money you get.
You can also fish, as when you level up you get lots of cash and the first 10/15 levels are not very hard to reach.
Since the ranks prices start getting really pricey I think just prioritizing equipment before rankups is more beneficial.

You should pick up an early space stone pick its very usefull early on and carried me through a couple b ranks. Fishing is also a really good source of money because u get money each time you level up as well as have a chance at finding fishing specials and ultras once you reach a certain lvl. Wood cutting can be profitable too as well as farming, eitiri’s hammer is good for both wood cutting and farming pills. I suggest that you save up for a farm and a couple of key ultras to help you rankup.
