Hi @AllSweetyhq! Although I’m not staff in-game, there are a few ways you can be prepared for the next Staff Application season. There are many, MANY ways, but here are some recommendations!
Regarding chances
- One of the best ways is by being very active on all of the server’s platforms: in-game, forums, Discord, and TeamSpeak. Being active will help you stand out as a good member of the community.
- With that being said, have a good reputation. If you’re known as toxic within the community, your chances will almost inevitably be decreased.
- Engage a lot with the community. Instead of just being on all the time, you should contribute positively to the server.
- Get familiar with the rules and make sure you follow them and fully understand them.
Regarding the application
- Although detail is recommended, it is better to have unique qualities that stand out to you. Detail is good, but you should remember quality over quantity.
- You should take a look at these.
- This is a very helpful guide in case you need/want it.
- Remember that if you get denied, you can always try again!
Regarding cheating/hacking
You can always look at videos of staff members on any server catching hackers to see how they do it. BadBoyHalo actually has older videos of him catching hackers and it’s mostly what you would be doing (except for the trolling).
Something you can also do is search for cheaters on Purgatory as that’s how I learned how to find certain types of cheats!
Prerequisite/Requirements
Finally, here are the prerequisites/requirements that you MUST meet in order to apply:
- You must play for at least 1 month
- You must be able to record hackers
- You have to have Discord and TeamSpeak
- (Not a prerequisite, but required) You must be 13 years of age or older
