The men had enjoyed a fine night of fishing aboard their small vessel, and though they had noticed a blanket of clouds being drawn across the sky to hide moon and stars, they were not concerned. They were a seasoned crew and had weathered their fair share of storms and troubles both on land and sea. The wind picked up as they secured their last load of fish and the net that was so valuable to their trade and turned their sturdy boat towards home. However, they had misjudged the weather this time, as it was no mere squall that bore down upon them, but a tempest. The raging winds blew the waves into towering mountains, and as they struggled valiantly to keep their vessel afloat, they did not notice the fierce creature that was camouflaged between the waves. At least, not until a flash of lightning illuminated an immense dragon born of water and breathing fire that would soon make the fate of these men a mystery to those they left behind.
