I have started on the island build and I am looking for any criticism.
Note: This is not the submission, just seeing what people think.

Not bad I think you could make the trees bigger. The under ground cave needs some more detail 
. Your rocks could use more shape they are kind of just a little square. You can give them shape with some slabs and stairs and also mix in other blocks. I don’t really like that you have vines hanging from your island as in my opinion it makes it look kind of messy. Try to make drouping leaves coming down from your island just to add detail. Also, It does not seem like you fully made the island sized what I mean by that is its like 15x15 and you proabably want a 30x30 to add as much as possible. Other than that nice job so far.
Thank you for the reply! I have fixed the rock to make it less blocky. The dimensions of the island are 25x 25, which I think is close enough to 30. The vines over-grew while it was built, its not really supposed to look like that. Speaking on the cave, (its supposed to be a hellish theme) what do you think I should add to it? Due to the 1.8.9 version, there aren’t a lot of blocks to fit the pallet.
