What was the origin story of MunchyMC? : )
Uh, Bad was like, I wanted a server, and came up with the name MunchyMC, and started to create it, people joined because he’s a youtuber, he found staff, and it evolved into what it is today. (He said this on a video.)

Was originally meant to be food based such as the gamemode CakeRace or the food fight event on prison! That is why it was called Munchy… 
The real story was bbh created a server invited friends and tested out game modes on a whitelisted server.
When he was happy with the game modes he invited people (including me) into discord and we came up with names for the server. I said the name munchy and someone else said munchymc. Bbh liked it and chose that name.

Bad used to be an admin & youtuber on a much larger server known as MCPvP. Due to issues with monetization and within the staff team as well as a rapid decline in popularity of its flagship mode Hardcore Games (the greatest Minecraft game mode to ever exist), it eventually shut down in May 2015. The owner sold a collection of server ips and code to the Brawl network, most notably HG, CTF and the hub ip.
The community wasn’t very happy with that and many refused to transition over to Brawl.
That’s really the main motivation Bad had for creating a server of his own. He started with a few minigames and was able to acquire MazeRunner, Kitpvp and I believe Siege from MCPvP.
This is also where a huge part of Munchy’s community comes from. Some of our early staff members were also staff on MCPvP before, such as: LittleMystic, Alakazam, BlueGuyARed, Nintendoguy, fbm, Callahan and myself. I’m sure there are more that I simply missed.

Someone forgot boopkins, although I was staff under “BoopPvP” at the time, and it was only for the last week or so, so it doesn’t really count I guess…
