Dear MunchyMc. I was looking around looking for ink sacs. But there are no squids anywhere. could you fix this? make squids spawn or spawn some squids in some rivers?
or other ways to get ink sacs? I hope you can fix this issue in survival.

but i cant find any. i did /rtp a lot of times like 15 mins of /rtp do you have them as pet or something?
pretty sure you need to be in a single area for a longer amount of time to give them time to spawn

An ocean is a great place to find squids instantly, when you can see black on a dark blue background.
im always in the ocean when i rtp but i cant find squids. thanks for yor help tho!
Squids are one of the rarest mobs in the normal world (overworld) for some reason, but I have noticed that there are much more spawning in the mining world. So you can check there.

Yep, squids are weirdly rare. Its something we’re hoping to fix in the update! For now Levis is right, there do tend to be more roaming the mining world.

I was looking in the mining world and indeed there were some squids! thanks for the help now i can make more build with black terracotta and not use coal all the time. coal blocks is a good way to make black stuff on your build but i want stained glass and other textures. well thanks for your help again!
