You’re right. I should have focused more on honesty than professionalism and explain what happened rather than reword it to the point where it ended up changing the narritive. I have a lot of things I have yet to work on and I apologize for that. Thank you for being patient with me and I appreciate you not letting me off the hook and commenting this
First of all, this is a lot to go through, and I appreciate you telling me, and the community this.
About the clan situation, I had no idea how clans worked, but if I was rude and I probably was, I genuinely am sorry for that. Just because I was in a rough situation that I put myself in, does not give me any justification to take it out on anybody else. For whatever I said or did, I am sorry.
And in terms of the economy, there are a few things I’d like to explain if that’s okay.
For the mystery boxes, I didn’t know the specific values for items almost at all in terms of crate items and crate keys and even vanilla items. This is why I had to hire a “Chief Financial Officer” to explain budgets and teach me about the values within the survival economy. It was never my intention to scam people, it was merely a bad and poorly presented form of light gambling that I wanted people to enjoy. I threw things like crate keys and nether stars inside them, but it did not make up for the lack of value in a lot of the boxes and it took a while for a lot of people to discuss with me about it for me to stop it altogether.
For the council, it was never my intention to “break the economy”. It started out as a fun and foolish and poorly made “plan” to “take over baltop” with some other members. Being on baltop shouldn’t negatively affect anyone, so I didn’t think anything of it at the time. However when a friend of mine spoke to me, they helped me realize that how we portrayed ourselves gave off an overpowering tyrannist representation. There were a lot of people who didn’t care about the funds or being a part of a fake business on Munchy. They were just there to have fun. And from that point on, the group disbanded and the bank eventually died out and is now the hosting place for Dummy Debates. We never planned on “bribing” anyone. There were quite a few people who wanted to switch from survival to prison or kit, and were interested in trading gold for shop related content on the buycraft site. And granted, all of these methods may come off as “scummy”, but it was never my intention to scam anyone.
And to clarify, I’m not trying to debate with you or try and justify everything I ever did. Because the truth is I hate who I used to be. I was toxic, and ignorant, and so immature, and all of my actions and my decisions caused me a lot of relationships with the people I cared about, especially on munchy. I’m not an amazing guy, or someone smart or powerful, or even someone people can call a good friend. But I will still try my best to be the opposite of who I used to be. Even if it wont happen anytime soon, I’m still going to try.
I’m sorry for all that I said and did, and hold no grudge or distaste to your comment. Thank you for saying this because it needed to be said. I need to be held accountable for my actions regardless of how long ago they were. If I’m being honest, all of my past decisions might be the reason why I never join the staff team at all. However if I can make someone else’s day better, and give someone a reason to smile and log back on to spend time with the people they care about, I will try my hardest to.
So to wrap it all up, I am sorry and hope I can build a better reputation with you, and with everybody else here on MunchyMC. You guys are like a family to me, and I have got a long ways before I can prove that. Thank you for sharing this with me. I do appreciate it a lot.
Anyways since this is so long omg im sorry,
Much love,
-Rhino
