This is my first time applying for this role.
What do you think your reputation is like within the community?
My reputation, as per my belief, is a small-nonpopular mall owner (Yes, its a totem warp) that does non-profit events.
Why are you interested in the role and what motivated you to apply?
I am interested in this role because of a time where I seen a clear hacker in purgatory (Teleportation, Speed, Flight, etc.), and I would not like those hackers in survival. Also I would like to help people on the server with whatever issue they have.
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), how would you rate your knowledge on moderating a community?
I would say an 8, because I have multiple communities that I moderate, including a small discord server (7-8 people), and a small man-made village (5+ people)
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), what would you rate your knowledge on Minecraft hacks and cheats, including finding and identifying cheaters?
I would say a 7, because I know about over 10 hacks/cheats but I never downloaded any cheats/hacks.
Some hacks I know about:

  • KillAura, When the player has an aura around them that a bot auto hits with held item
  • Aimbot, When using a projectile-based weapon, a bot aims the projectile to automatically hit a targeted entity/block
  • Reach, When a player attacks, the attack can reach an extended area
  • Scaffold, When a player is walking on an air block, a bot will place the held block below the player
  • Velocity, When an entity is hit by the user, the entity will be knocked back an extra amount of force
  • Speed, The hack is self explanatory.
  • Fly, Also self explanatory.
  • Jesus, When on water, the player walks on it like any solid block
  • NoFall/Glide, When falling, the player takes no fall damage. The way how it works depends on if its NoFall or Glide.
  • ESP, Outlines entities, players, and chests as if it had the glowing effect.
  • Anti-Knockback, Negates any type of knockback
  • Autoclick, Allows the user to click faster than humanly possible
  • X-Ray, Allows the user to see through the ground and see ores in render distance
  • IcePhysics, Allows any block to have ice physics
  • AirJump, Basically allows the player to jump twice

Side Notes:

  • If anyone is wondering, the mall warp is named “Mall”, although its true name is the Cozy Cottage Mall.
  • I have found a glitch, that if abused, can lead to an unfair advantage, so if you can inform me about if I can be part of the staff team AND the bug & idea team simultaneously, it would be appreciated. Yes i did report it so I’m not blackmailing, just to get clear with everyone.

Just gonna adress a few things so you can fix this as fast as you can, because I see potential in you!!

  1. Bland Application - Dont try to stretch it too much, but try look at some accepted applications and reword it into your own style, which should help you overcome this issue.

Although this CAN contribute to your reputation, its asking how do you think you are seen in the community. As you can be seen as a mall owner in the vannila survival mode, this is more dependant on how you are as a person, and not just a owner xD

  1. This is your first post!! - For something who seems like a knowledgable person as you said in your application, you should definitely be reviewing posts and possibly commenting if you wish! Definitely look into this!

im not gonna rate this but if i remember you in survival when you’re under pressure you do wrong things and start to get toxic, when hosting waterdrop

Now yes, that may be true, depending on the perspective, however, that was a long time ago and I have moved on from that type of toxicity. Also I remember you from countless waterdrop events when it came to a 1v1 you and me back in the good days.

For 1. I can agree that it is bland, however, since I am no main protagonist, what I have seen is quite bland, and that is what the most outstanding things were.
For 2 (I guess you didn’t label). Yes I see your point, and I am seen both ways depending on who you are, so I just did what I believed people see me controversially.
For 3. In fact right after I posted this I ran into other people’s posts and have not viewed them beforehand to avoid propaganda to my post to make me look better.

Sage the wage, welcome to the community! I say this not because you’re new, but because it’s your first time posting. Maybe you should look at other applications and comment on them, or just post stuff related to survival! Makes you look 10x better.

Currently I do not have TeamSpeak3, However, I have discord.

You’re gonna need TS, or at least know how to work it. At the cost of absolutely nothing (because it’s free), you too can download TS and be able to say “yes I do have TS and I know how to use it!”.

I’ve seen you around before, I will admit. With these water drops, you’re not exactly the nicest. I know these are in good faith, but when things don’t go your way, you can be not nice. Don’t want to say toxic, but maybe radioactive. I recommend talking to others outside the warp totem or joining other people’s events. That way you can talk to other people outside your typical group and expand your horizons, or don’t, I don’t control you.

This is a good reason, but is it the only one? Hackers are bad, but definitely not as common as people needing help. (This is a hint, you should be interested in helping people as well)

You were doing so good. This sounds like blackmail? You’re supposed to report glitches/bugs even if you’re not staff. If you’re just keeping it to yourself, not a very good look for someone wanting to be staff. Just saying.

Overall, this is a solid 0 from me.
I’m not saying it’s bad, but there’s a good chunk you gotta work on. Edit your app, make it better! Actually, make it AMAZING.

Keep going at it and you can get there eventually!

Teamspeak3 is required for those applying for staff - if you do not have it you do not meet the prerequisites and you will be denied.

and yes, I am working on a megabase/main base, so that’s where my attention’s been lately
3: I have seen a couple, but not as clear as that one. Also yes, I thought helping people was almost predefined in the moderator/Jmod/Smod roles
4: I’m thinking of having a friend download the hacks then testing them in a free private server so I can get it to be an 8 or 9.
5: The minute I found it I reported it to a helper (staff member) so they can check it out. So its not blackmail if I reported it, right?
