Hot takes are one of the most fun things to do, yet it can get a bit controversial with some OUTRAGEOUS takes, now this instead of being normal hot takes like
“streamers in general are EXTREMELY boring” (agreed)
it will be about… MUSIC!!! what a surprise!!
I’m gonna drop some of MY music hot takes now and i’d love to see some of yours :)
1: Vultures 2 wasn’t bad (aside from the AI and mumble on 5:30) the rest of the songs were really good like FIELD TRIP and RIVER
2: The New Workout Plan is NOT bad and NOT the worst song of TCD
3: Billie Eilish >> Olivia Rodrigo

•Mf doom is goated but overglazed, only 2 great albums and he + Kanye are the most glazed rappers oat.
•rod wave + nettspend are the worst mainstream rappers rn.
•Ajr is absolutely the apitomy of DOG💩 and is completely a Disney adult music group.
•Chromakopia is Tyler’s best album with Igor (obviously there’s a trash song or two like sticky but it’s quite amazing).
•Big one, people are too scared to get into other genre’s because they feel everyone will judge them so they navigate like a moth to a flame and choose the same mainstream 25 million listeners a month+ artists. People should explore other genre’s, artists, and styles without feeling they are above them.
•Phonk, mumble rap, and rap with the same dumbass snare beat is absolutely trash
Mumble rap is terrible, and as for the snare beat no artists I hear that mumble rap with a snare beat are unoriginal and trash. There is no message or topic being rapped about and they sound like some rapper that would’ve been created in the boondocks universe.
It matters if you’re talking about like literal underground rappers who think they are good for having a good beat then just mumbling but mainstream/ semi known mumble rappers are good ex : summrs carti Ken Carson , destroy lonely, Lucki, etc are good
90% of mainstream artist are not good at all( mainly talking about rap )
Underground mumble rappers are the worst type of music ever just stop forcing yourself to listen to ts and being different
Drill music is corny asf, I used to fw it but it’s just so corny hearing the lyrics
British music / drill is horrible like how can you take someone with a British accent serious
Chromakopia is the most mid album ever and most over hyped album of the year or probably since 2020 atp like I guarantee 90% of the ppl who glazed it before it dropped don’t even listen to Tyler
some songs are good but the ones that are bad are REALLY bad
i do agree that it is the worst kanye album and it just feels like a playlist but it is overhated in my opinion

i dont agree with this, wolf, cmiygl and igor are over Chromakopia
i feel like it is the opposite and people dive into underground genres to put it in other people’s faces that they listen to underground and they feel over people who listen to mainstream and start to get an ego over that, but you should def dive into underground but don’t show off you do cuz it drives people away from other genres

BUT drill parodies are actually good because they’re funny
i don’t think it was mid but it def wasn’t the best tyler album or imo in the top 3 not sure if it was me but i didn’t see too overhype but i heard some people were listening to the snippet on loop for days it was a funny rollout
music from the ussr era is actually good but it’s really corny to play it in public LMAO
