Hello Munchies! It appears we’re a year late on posting this newsletter! To make up for such slip-up, we’ve made the first newsletter of the year a rather lenghty one, filled with new exciting updates!

What’s up GameMaker people!!! in december we got a new update!

I. New Update

This update brought us 21 new features, a couple small changes to existing features and a bunch of bug fixes! We also updated to 1.21.4, and removed @Dipper5731.

Thank you Fumaz for your all hard work, you are definitely the #1 GameMaker developer.

II. Featured Map

We want to put some awesome MapMakers in the spotlight this month to recognize their hard work, highlight their creative maps, and encourage others to get inspired by their ideas.

This month’s featured map is…

Overworld Parkour by Oracol

This map has been out for awhile now, but continues to be one of the top maps each week. It offers fun & well made parkour, and most importantly tracks your time so you can flex to your friends when you get a sub 5 minute run!

III. Maker+ Giveaway

Another Maker+ giveaway?! Last month we had our second giveaway, which was won by Alischa101! We’d like to show our appreciation for you all again by offering another 2 weeks of Maker+! To enter, all you have to do is to vote in the poll below!

Updates on Map 11
That’s right: earlier this month, we’ve gotten important updates on the upcoming Prison map! Here are some key points and specificities concerning it:

Its theme will be GOOD VS EVIL and it will have a total of four outside worlds, each possessing their own set of rares: Earth (Earth Rares), Heaven (Angelic Rares), Hell (Demonic Rares) and Space (Jedi Rares and Sith Rares)!
Earth outside world: It has no PvP, but the highest rarity of items that can be found in it are Legendaries - perfect for newer players or those who like to loot without taking too many risks!
Heaven outside world: It’s the main outside world, because it has a significant amount of rares compared to the other ones, but can only be unlocked after having looted at least 300 chests!
Hell outside world: Every hour, there’s only a 1/8 chance for this outside world to open for an hour, but the wait and the dangers awaiting within it are worth the risk for its rares tend to be much better than those from the outside worlds previously mentionned!
Space outside world: Last but not least, this outside world holds the best rares, but is only available to all when the highest types of rares are found by players - Legendaries (45 minutes), Mythicals (3 hours) and Extincts(9 hours).
This time, every outside world has its own set of unique mobs that can’t be found in other worlds!
Each world, besides Earth has two different Mythicals.

HI SURVIVAL!! I am currently writing this on January 3rd 2025. I hope you have all had a wonderful December, let’s get into this

I. Winter Crates

On the 14th of December RossRao came onto Survival and gave us this wonderful update.
9 new gadgets, at least 11 new tool skins, 7 new particles and we even got charms!

If you are not aware of what charms are, you can put one on your weapon and when you kill something a very pretty and super cool particle will say hello! My favourite is the festive frame charm. And not because it’s the only one I have seen.
