Hey all! Shorter section this month, but let’s get into it!
I. CTF Tournament Conclusion
Last month I wrote about how the CTF tournament was still underway- this month it finally reached its conclusion, and here’s the winning teams!
In 3rd place we had team Scheduling Nightmares, which consisted of 262ms, amy2017, and thecolorblurple!
In 2nd place we had team Oni Gang, which consisted of Anderish, SSpiderr, and ccpnos!
And in our 1ST PLACE spot, we had team PepsiTrain Fan Club, which consisted of Ponda, CrushedAlpacaThe1st, and Numbero1ne!
Between the top three placements was a prize pool worth 255$, split between them. All of the teams have already gotten their prizes, so the tournament is officially done and over! Special thanks to Ironnose for hosting, and thanks to all of the referees that helped watch over each game!

Hey everyone, time to look at the survival highlights of August!
I. Art competition winners
This month, the results for the art competition came out and here are the winners. The theme was Whimsical Nature:
First Place: Friendly Spirit by J1y25

Congrats to these four for winning the competion, all of these winners will be made into actual paintings and sold by an npc at spawn soon. So stay tuned for that :)
II. Bosses and Merchant
This month, a few more cool things were added, such as an extra world merchant and bosses!
It works as follows: every 2 hours, in one of the three extra worlds (Mining, Nether or End), a random boss spawns. There are three types of bosses in total.
Upon joining said world, a compass will point you to the location of the boss. At the end when the boss is defeated, the three people that did the most damage are given vault keys. Then, the wandering merchant spawns somewhere else in the world, there, you can open your vault keys to get special items and trade with the merchant.
You can also get these vault keys at the bazaar alongside item and gold ticket bundles that are also new in the bazaar.
