Application
IGN: MemeDank70
Age: 14
Timezone: CST
Language(s) spoken: English
Server(s) you are interested in moderating: KitPVP
How active can you be per week? 3-6 weekdays and 5-8 weekends ! Now if I am busy it can range from 1-4 hours weekdays to 4-6 hours weekends!
Do you have any punishments on our network? If so, please describe your side of the story: I have been falsely muted because I said someone’s name and it was relativity close to the “N-Word!” (I was shortly unmuted after that because I contacted a mod on discord!)
I also was muted for encouraging spam and it was 100% deserved! I didn’t see what the helper told me, so I kept doing it then it eventually got me muted.
Have you applied for this role before? If so, please explain the steps you have taken to improve as an applicant since your last application: I have applied for JMOD 1 other time, and this was when I was barely known. In my first application, it wasn’t very detailed, and in this application I’m trying to make it more detailed. This would also be the same scenario with my event team applications I needed to add more detail and get more known.
What do you think your reputation is like within the community? I would say my reputation for this community would have to be good. I have made many great friends such as @LuvJuwonix, @Sottow, @brokxen, @DrakeOfStars, @Kitcaaat, @KidMcSizzle, @SantaIsReal, and these are just the most notable of friends that I have had the most interactions with. I have had a great time with all of these people and others.
Why are you interested in the role and what motivated you to apply? I always looked up to staff members simply because they were always so nice and this made me want to come back to the server. (This was also with other players that I met when I first joined such as @LuvJuwonix and @EeveeNoises) So I want to be another person people can look up to just as I did when I first joined. Giving back to the community is always a thing I wanted to do and I could enhance the way I do it by preventing players from having a bad time by banning the hackers that play on there.
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), how would you rate your knowledge on moderating a community? I have moderated quite a few discord servers in my past ranging from helper to co-owner, also ranging from 10-700 members. Moderating a community can be hard at times(which it is) other times it’s not. I would say the hardest part of moderating chat is when people overdo it, and how hard to punish them for what they did.
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), what would you rate your knowledge on Minecraft hacks and cheats, including finding and identifying cheaters? 6/10 I think I know quite a bit about cheats, but not enough to call myself a SMOD! I do know how to identify blatant cheats such as kill-aura, aimbot, 3.5 block reach, high jump(The anti-cheat would most likely auto-ban for this.), bunny hop, Jesus(You can walk on water there is also another version of this called dolphin and could be hard to get detected on the anti-cheat because of 1.16 compatibility.), but this list could go on and on. We also have quite a long list of closet cheats, here are a few: AutoSoup(This depends on settings and this could be considered as a blatant cheat (Blatant for the anti-cheat, not players) if they use it in a certain way!)
