Here are a few topics to discuss about Map 9:

  1. What were some of your favorite rares this map? Which did you enjoy using? Can be any rarity.

  2. What rares were annoying/did you hate being used against you? (Not necessarily that you thought were bad rares, just ones that you hated used against you)

I’m only gonna answer #3 because I’m lazy.
Cellshops are incredibly convenient and useful I can’t remember how we played without them now. I liked almost all of the new outside/looting changes like lotto, turfs, and new creatures. The one thing I didn’t like was enchanted chests. Dust looting just makes me sad despite being a cool idea and game mechanic. I just loved the looting style from previous maps of being able to walk outside with nothing and loot yourself into a set if you really wanted to. This is still possible with dust looting, it’s just a lot harder and less enjoyable.

  7. At the start I wanted seperate myths not necessarily all of them but toes and scepter seemed rly cool and for leaderboard i wanted to get crash #1 which i did have for a while at the start of the map
  8. Liam/omar definately introduced me into myth looting so from watching them loot in screenshares and discovering so many new spots so that helped for looting. For the rest I’m a quick learner.

Map 9 was lots of fun but certainly a map where risk for reward really barely existed (mal legs, trees at park)

Favorite rare : Love elsa’s scepter, the tension and feeling when using the ability on the scepter is amazing! “Ping ping” the beautiful spam of pings you hear when finding a myth is just wonderful.

Also UL pick for cell raiding was fun, even tho cell hold ruined cell hunting if you ask me.

Annoying rare: as a bad pvper and active looter my worst experiences getting killed outside (before mal legs ofc.) Was when I suddenly got shot by tarantella crossbow and then bandaged and killed, so iguess it gotta be bandage and tarantella cb.

New features: creature rares was amazingly fun at the start, but quickly got “boring” when you found em all looting with legs and sceper. Cellshops deserves a mention, really nice!

But my favorite is santa pass, love crates…

  1. I quickly climed multiple leaderboards, but never really intended to top em, but was fun when i saw my name rise on all the looting lb’s, ranktop and fishtop.

  2. Looting is my main acitvity on prison, its so much fun! Before i got mal legs i combined it with mob hunting for creature crates which was fun until I filled the creature rare dex.
    I spent alot of time in the arcade aswell, snail race was a steady income, even tho most profit ended on blue hunting.

Fishing got really fun wheb using worms from looting and getting passes, crates etc.

Also cell hunting is a passion, but i lost interest in it with the cell hold, Iknow its just “1 more week” but it acutally gives the players 1 extta week to re rent cell, you should add so only CMs can re rent or remove cell hold.

  1. Rocks outside is nr 1 looting spot! Closely followed by “newly” added gas / pool. Absolutely favorite outside spots using mal legs and scepter.
    Before i got mallegs my favorite spot were docks/cranes where there is alot of chests and mob spawning at night.

Inside i spent most time at arcade tbh, but when i got my secret cell at b block and built a nice cellshop which most players visited i enjoyed many hours there!

  1. Special rares is my favorite collections, all of them! I had a goal to finish /dex but ended with everything but EB grin… also had a passion to collect ibby’s blocks!

  2. So many amazing players! But i would not of gotten a good start w/o Oofiest, my map 6 mate! Cant mention all but i made so much new friends, I usually try to keep my distance but this map i feel like i got into the community and had good talks with multiple players and made bonds! and then theres alot of people who prob wont call me a friend :joy: shout out to everyone who permed nr 1 mal leg abuser for map 10.

Anyway. Great job Red! And the whole team who keeps prison running!

ill just type in short:
2: worst item = mal legs legit unfair and i hope ill never see any immune item anymore
3: as a prison main and pvp main i would say prison break was the best feature so far, hoever, it was a bit unbalanced and i have some ideas to make prison break more fun
5: fav pvp item = shrek axe/donkey leg underated items
fav farming item = skeleton pick
fav looting item = scepter
6: warp b looks great
7: what was important to me is just having fun in this map i didnt really care about goal or collection
8: my friends (h&a gang) without them prison wasnt fun and then i wasnt even getting online once also i got some thanks to players: tarteris, zetsies, wu knows, nolan1231, colefj8, justindraggss, noated, raz0rb, pirateclick and shark gang for making the server more interesting for me

  • Maleficent Wings, Love that a players cape is visible on the wings AND is useful for looting
  • Chocolate maker
  • Never used the ability but the Ghost Face and Varmetek Horns both looked really nice

3. Which entirely new features did you like best that were new this map: New Creatures, Creature Rares, Enchanted Chests, Turf War, Extinct Rares, Cellshops, Prisonbreak multi maps and voting and special items, Looting Lotto, Santa Pass, New NPCs, etc.

Can we talk about cellshops? I love those! Especially when ppl decorated them in an original way :)
Also liked to build my banner shop :3 (so yes, from all the NPC’s Iago was my favorite)

Extinct at the beginning was nice because nobody knew what it was and I recon everyone wanted to be the first person to find one.

4. What was your personal social experience like? Were you more competition or community oriented?
I think mine shifted from community at the beginning towards competition at the end. At the beginning I was more busy with item-guide, looting and socialising. Towards the end… yeah we all know what happened.

5. Which activities were your favorite to do from the following: Farming, Fishing, Looting, Cell hunting, PvP, Mining, Woodcutting, Arcade, Mob hunting
Looting! Always looting.

7. What was important to you? What collection were you trying to complete or goal set to accomplish?
Finding an extinct, finding my own pickaxe, collecting all Ibby-Blocks (failed miserably at that) but the most important collection is my flower collection :)

8. Who is someone who helped you or that you enjoyed playing with?
Assuming that you only can mention 1 person: The first person that pops into my mind is Liam. Gave me a full set so I was able to loot but in general he helps me out a lot with items and really takes time to explain how things work.

  1. Maleficent Wings; would have been one of the best Mythicals if not for Mal Legs
  2. Donkey Leg; burst damage + knockback was incredibly irritating - this item was required early map for PvP
  3. Extincts were a fantastic addition that added another level of luck to looting. Enchanted chests were difficult to balance and led to too many items coming into the map in my opinion. Cellshops were an amazing addition. Prison Break could be tweaked to allow for a more balanced experience (guaranteed 3-4 items when opening first chest like instant PB). Creatures and creature crates/rares were a great addition (maybe make the items a bit stronger to give more value to them). Turf War/Looting Lottos were also really fun, but could use some tweaking to be more balanced/be more worthwhile (i.e. have 4 quadrants of the map with each having a nice looting spot to prevent turf holders from being a thing).
  4. I managed to organize the team that helped Leeaff get ranktop - definitely more competitive oriented (fish top as well :D)
  5. Farming was an enjoyable change from last map, although somewhat tedious and not worthwhile for lower-tier farming. Fishing was probably the best it’s been this map and was profitable even when buying worms. Looting was broken with Mal Legs unfortunately. PvP was generally well-balanced, but should be tweaked more often at the start of the map to avoid players quitting due to OP combos/items (UD feet, SoN Rifle, etc.). Arcade needs to be adjusted, specifically for slotting - can we get a mechanic/UI that allows the player to slot multiple items at a time? The chocolates were a great addition, but still took quite a while to use and you would take up all of the slots in the arcade to do so. Maybe add a /slot GUI that you can put all of the items you want slotted into and it instantly spits out the rewards (basically just a random number generator that spits out your reward when needing to slot bulk amounts of semis/epics).
  6. Maybe my farms? That’s where I made most of my money and fished, so…
  7. I wanted to find an extinct this map, but lost hope (f*** LiamBGames for finding 4 extincts - jk).
  8. Shout out to the group that helped get Leeaff ranktop. The end of the ranktop competition was a little scary, but we got it :)

  • Muffets Bow: Personally, I rlly like the item, but its annoying when someone shoots it at you.
  • Maleficent Legs: As easy as they made it to loot, I think they were very unfair and truly made the game very boring. It was more fun going outside to loot knowing you can lose all your items, than almost every single player being immune to pvp/mobs.

4. I absolutely loved my social experience this map, it was much much better than last map… I made some amazing friends and met very interesting people.

5. Not counting all the deaths towards Papa Bears and enemies, my number 1 most favorite thing was looting, as thats the very first thing that I have started doing when I joined Munchy. Second favorite would be farming. Cell hunting was fun until the “2 week” holding update.

6. Running laps at spawn, melon was also very fun back when it was more active. Favorite place in the outside would be that one room filled with chests that no one knew about, so I always had it all to myself :)

7. Originally I was never trying to get ranktop, I just kept ranking up/prestiging without ever checking the ranktop leaderboard. I remember I checked /lb one time and saw myself in 7th place, which gave me huge motivation to try and get number one. However, I knew that that would be impossible to do all by myself since p2w exists. I’m still happy with my #3 :D Later on, I had a ton of fun grinding farming and trying to make money to help Leeaff get ranktop… LEEAFF ON TOP!!!

  1. I loved maleficent wings, it is an amazing movement item and it’s farming ability is amazing. And the UL lockpick was really good for cell raiding.

  2. I disliked when people use undead rose bush because unless you have something that can instantly take you out of it’s radius there is no way to escape.

  3. Extinct rares really added another aspect to looting and everyone was hyped for it. I also love cellshops because it adds a new way for people to sell/buy goods and items.

  4. I think I’ve been community oriented making friends helping giving out some items until a month before leaderboards closed, the last month of the is when I think I became more competition oriented with the battle for ranktop.

  5. Farming and cell hunting 100%

  6. Without a doubt slime and rocks.

  7. My main goal was to get an extinct, and a myth found in slots.

  8. The question seems like you can only put one person so I’d have to go with Ursofamily, he did quit a while ago but he really did help me get a headstart with items/money.

Map 9 was my first map so there were lots of special moments for me.

  1. Some of my favorite rares this map included the Tinkerbell Bell, Easter Bunny Feet (because I like to be a menace to society), Puss in Boots Blade, RedVelvet’s Cake (sell boost go brr), Ugly Duckling Rod, Snow White Ribbon, Big Bad Wolf Legs, Snow White Dress, Spirit Box, Goldilocks Pick, Captain Hook’s Reel (just to fling people in the air), etc…

  2. I never really disliked an item but sometimes the Easter Bunny bow can be annoying if used in combos (which is also genius but still), Ghost Aura during PvP (even though, I used it sometimes myself), but I liked every item honestly.

  3. I really loved turf war, extinct rares, prisonbreak, santa pass, and looting lottos!

  4. I feel that I was more community-oriented and still consider myself that but when I made my own tightknit circle of friends, I was competition-oriented for leaderboards.

  5. Farming, Looting, PvP, Mining

  6. I often spent time running around spawn, jumping over chests, hours at a time. I would hang with friends in the PvP/CPvP zones for some friendly fights, and even just hanging around each area they offered. I spent most time outside at rocks, hospital, and big chest.

  7. Making friends was very important to me but also grinding at my own pace. And I definitely attempted to collect as much Baby Bear Honey Bottle’s because they’re so cute.

  8. I enjoyed playing with many but here are some honorable mentions!
