This right here is p much bullshit and why people don’t play vacuum. Half the time you can’t even place the ability on an area for strategic gain, and so many blocks are “restricted” Like why is this even a thing? This was the same way with Zeus’s right click ability with the lightining box.

Yeah it’s also like this with portal, there are been so many times you can’t even place the portal for whatever reason. Like for example in front of spawn, it bugs out way to much.

Whenever I use this kit to try and escape from someone, half the time I die because it just doesn’t wanna suck them in.

I never use this kit because I don’t like it but this is interesting I will try to use it next time its free

You are not the first to complain, in fact, I was.
A year ago, they did an update to stop “abusing” it’s abilities, for example above a fall trap/elevator.
At least it got buffed back with it’s old AoE, but the placement was still a problem, they didn’t want to take on. With the change to the placement near death threatening areas, where as they have to be placed 3 blocks of space between itself and the edge of the map, they for some reason also added the spawn location condition, which would only make sense for titans, as they do kills using their ability in a no-pvp area, this however made these kits easy kills in spawn area, as they could only use a few soups, before they get shredded to pieces by ninjas, without a way to just escape, as I titled them Escape Specialist.
A few months ago, I played portal a lot, but portal also has it’s flaws, that only reset on map rotation server restarts.
For example, when a portal is placed, a bug can be used for any other portal being unable to be placed at that exact same or one block neighboring block, breaking famous trapping places to place the portal at or just an escape portal in general.
On the new map, below the skeppy dinosaur, there are some blocks, that prevent the usage of the portal, not even in the spawn circle where portal works with a 20% chance at, is not within it, as it is marked with a huge gap, where portals can be placed at.
I also believe, some bug users just use this bug to prevent any portal users to even be able to escape or place the portal in front of the player, like it is a lava bucket, just to get away from that one titan at special places.
