in kitpvp i flew with the falcon kit and i noticed when the timer was up i could still fly just wondering if this was intentional or a glitch

The timer on your xp-bar tells you how long you have to wait before you can “enable” flight again using falcon kit, it doesn’t say how long you can fly for.
For example: If you are flying and someone hits you with a bow, you drop to the ground and the timer displays 10 seconds. That means you can’t start flying again until these 10 seconds are over.
So to answer your question: No, it’s not a glitch.

The timer it’s a cooldown to use the fly again, when you use it at first time you won’t stop flying until someone hits you, then the cooldown starts again
