This won’t be a long post, but I believe it’s certainly warranted after all of this community member’s contributions. That community member being @TheBoop
Being a natural munchymc historian, I’ve talked to Boop a lot, especially about munchy’s history and what he’s done for munchy. Boop joined munchy when munchy didn’t exist, back then being known as mcpvp which as many of you know transformed later into munchymc. Boop was also one of the first staff members, and before his leaving was by far one of the oldest. Back around 2019, I thought Boop was incredibly terrifying, as he was and still is one of the most influential people ever known to munchymc. And no, he wasn’t even an egg back then.
Boop is an incredibly special staff member to me, being one of the oldest staff members, as well as one of the smartest and most caring people imaginable. It really is a shame that not a ton of community members can recognise the immense effort put in by him for the community, but there are of course people who know just how much work he put in.
Boop, on behalf of the entire community, thank you for everything you’ve done, after all these years, you are still one of my favourite community/staff members ever. I can’t put into words how much you’ve helped munchy, or thank you enough for it, but there is one thing I can say, you will be missed.
oh, thank you @TheBoop for everything you did the first time me meeting you was in events it was a very long time ago I doubt you’d remember that since I was also new and you were a jmod or a mod I forgot xd but I will really miss you boop
Don’t think I’ve said it enough that this man was the person with the most influence on my experience as a staff member. From mentoring me during my trial to always having my back (Only some would know that boop is the reason I was given the chance at a promotion back in 2021), and overall being a great friend to me.
It’s unfortunate I won’t be able to speak to this fabulous man again, but I know he’s doing much better now and can only wish him the best.
I dedicate my first comment on the forums to you. As much as I know that you’ll never read this, you’re the best Bopp. We’ve only known each other for a short time, yet you’ve always treated me with immense kindness. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me.
Let’s party again sometime yeah ? I hate to admit it but you’re a pretty cool DJ.
