The GameMaker Makeathon
What is a Makeathon?
The Makeathon is (traditionally) a 24-hour event designed for individuals or teams to collaboratively develop innovative projects from concept to execution. However, this time around, we will be doing things slightly different so now you will have 2 weeks to complete your map and show off your building / coding skills!
Event Details
You will be judged on how original your map concept is, how unique your parkour is, & of course how fun it is to play! (please note that we are not specifically looking for rage inducing parkour!) An optional map template with basic parkour coding will be provided, but any extra coding will be taken into consideration as well.
Theme: Parkour Map
Team Limit: 1-2 players per team
Time Limit: 2 weeks (ending on Aug 1st, 4 pm est)
Prizes
This will be a cash prize event, but any participants will also receive a brand NEW EXCLUSIVE Makeathon tag!
As well as 500 cake for signing up! NOTE: cash prizes will be split evenly between teammates.
1st Place:
$100 gift card of your choice! (between steam, roblox, & the munchystore)

3rd Place:
$20 gift card of your choice! (between steam, roblox, & the munchystore)
How to Sign Up?
- Form Your Team: Gather up to 2 talented players. (min 1, max 2)
- Register Your Team: Once the event starts, one team member must reply to this forum post with the following format to register your team!

Rules
- Please make use of the #Makeathon & #Parkour map tags!
- Work on the map must end by the due date so the judging can commence
- Most importantly, remember to keep things lighthearted and have fun!
