Don’t invest your time and effort into a project with people who don’t actually care about you. That’s what this place has taught me as of late. Ultimately, you’re invested in a very bad stock with Munchy currently, and that’s not to point the finger at anyone; that’s just how it is in 2023. If it’s experience you’re looking for, you won’t find much here. You could have all the characteristics needed but no one here is interested in enabling your goals for you. Yes, it’s a video game, but that doesn’t invalidate your hopes and goals. You just need to re-adjust–you’re working with a team that trivializes your gain by telling you you’re not staff even though you’re a Forums Mod. The disrespect there is just kind of disappointing really. Consider that when deciding if this is still what you want. If not, then it’s perfectly fine to move on and look for new experiences and opportunities. Whatever happens though, don’t let anyone take away what you’ve accomplished here.
Perhaps focus on school and you can see yourself as a developer on a Minecraft project sometime. Everyone can ban a rule-breaker; not everyone can code. Admittingly a much more worthwhile venture than moderation in the long run, although I hate to say it. Just a thought.
