I just started today and I was wondering why I sometimes get showered with emerald, diamond and gold blocks seemingly at random! Not sure what this is, and I cant find anything about it in the introduction books.

When someone prestiges everyone on the sever gets showered with random gold, diamond, and emerald blocks. This is most likely what happened.
