KitPvP Highlights!
KitPvP 3.0 was released in Four Weeks of Christmas! We’re aware that at the time of writing this we haven’t released week four yet, but we hope to do so within the next few weeks.
Here’s a breakdown of what each week has (and will) look like!
Week One - Casual - 12/04/20
Week one consisted of updates to the casual hotbar and GUIs, including a redesigned settings menu with new features, including the time of day, chat pings, and brand new themes!

Week Two - The Arena - 12/11/20
Week two consisted of major updates, first a major update to the arena hotbar, GUIs, and kits (i.e. fixing some inconsistencies). The second part of this update is less significant to gameplay, but without a doubt was noticed within first join to the arena. The second update completely removed the old arena maps and main arena, and replaced them with some beautiful new maps, made for both aesthetic purposes, and those looking for the true “practice” feel.

Week Three - Events - 12/18/20
Week three consisted of arguably the largest update to the entire gamemode. This update will include multiple new events, as well as some new event styles, where you can choose from different versions of the game type of event (i.e. Munchy Spleef v.s. Normal Spleef). Furthermore, new maps for almost every single event are not available, with room for much expansion in the future!

Week Four - Map, Kits and a New Season - 12/25/20 - DELAYED
Week four, the final week, landing on Christmas, will include multiple new Kits (yes, the kits from last year’s competition), and a brand new casual map! Accompanying this final update, we will be releasing KitPvP Season V, which will be announced in further detail in the coming weeks. While this will mark the end of the four weeks of updates, do not expect this to be the end of KitPvP until 2022. We hope to have regular event map additions, as well as some more casual maps coming out very soon!

In September, map 8 hype was high as RedVelvetCake released exciting hints revealing new features in map 8 and hints for the map 8 theme!

October was a quiet month as map 7 wrapped up and RedVelvetCake and Varmetek were hard at work finishing up map 8!
Prisonbreak Tournament hosted by Gould_!
November
This month saw the sad end of map 7, and the release of map 8 of prison with every player’s progress being reset and a whole bunch of new items themed around ‘Superheroes and Villains’!
Map 8 had more new features than ever before, with the introduction of looting zones outside, new mobs outside, the new ‘epic’ item rarity, skills, challenges, a whole new and improved gang system, the prestige shop and a new method of money-making with woodcutting!
December
And finally, we’re here - December. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the prison staff team!
This month, the first special crates were added to prison… Afterlife crates! Now’s the time to make a deal with the devil to roll up some special rares, such as Demon Eyes, Hell’s Furnace, Angel Halo or the Jesus Pick!
The prestige areas have also finally been released this map, providing exclusive prestige mines, prestige farms and prestige cells when you prestige!
A bunch of new items have also been added in December since the release of prison, so get outside and get looting!

It’s been a strange and difficult year in the outside world, but an epic and wonderful one on the Survival Server. So much has happened over the past twelve months and the community has grown hugely, yet still stayed as warm and friendly as ever.
As we start the new year, we wanted to put together a brief overview of all the fun times we’ve had and all the progress we’ve made over 2020!

@Awperr also joined the Survival team as a developer, and is working with Callahan on some very exiting but very secret projects that you’ll all be seeing at some point next year. He’s also helping out with general maintenance, upkeep and fixes, so we’ll be seeing him around a fair amount!

Wool Wars Highlights!
Bonjour my good friends, and welcome back to the part of this Newsletter that actually matters: WoolWars!
While this year has not been great and was quite disappointing for everyone involved, I would like to take a second to look back at this year for the WoolWars game mode, and how much it has grown ever since!
December 2020
This month we have had some backend optimisations and improvements in the WoolWars code, as well as some epic staff promotions!! (cough cough your lovely WoolWars editor cough)
I will assure you, though, that some big updates are constantly being worked on to make sure your experience as a player on MunchyMC would be nothing but amazing! 
We’ve got some big plans for 2021, especially with the brand new introduction of the WoolWars Events Discord Server (Discord), make sure to keep an eye on the forums!

January/February/March 📅
Nothing really interesting happened during these 3 months, but the Build Team application opened again! It was a great moment as many players applied of the rank, some of them are currently builders!
April 📅
For this month, a brand new WoolWars Lobby made by Hi_Im_Mikey would come along the WoolWars update with a colorful and an amazing design. There is also a new SG Map made by @Blocker! With a colosseum style.
May 📅
We start this month with 2 new builders who passed their trial! Virale & SierAlex. Virale built a beautiful WoolWars map for his trial, while SierAlex (me) built the future SG Hub. We also started to make the Prison Map 8, wich was a secret project at the time. 
June 📅
Although nothing really exciting happened, I (SierAlex) built a brand new KitPvP 3.0 Solo DodgeBall map, it’s currently on KitPvP and you can play it anytime!
July 📅
Early this month, SierAlex got promoted to Senior Builder! . We also got a new trial who managed to pass his trial, @Quorafied would start and finish his trial this month, with a wonderful design and skill! Mikeal would also start to co-manage the Build Team along with igotchu.
August 📅
And for this month, Aiadeva passed her trial and got promoted to Builder! She made a lot of beautiful maps such as the Parkour event or the Spleef maps . SierAlex also built a new Sumo map for the KitPvP 3.0 Update with a greek style!
September 📅
We started this month with a bunch of new maps! Such as a new Sg Cruise map by Blocker, a new 1v1 KitPvP Arena made by SierAlex, another Spleef and TDM map made by Aiadeva and a new CTF map made by Quorafied!
October/November 📅
And for this month we start with the KitPvP Event Maps Build competition hosted by igotchu, Mikeal and SierAlex, with DaanB as a new builder for being the winner of the competition! We also got a new Builder, Cookize managed to pass his trial with a stunning KitPvP casual map. We also made brand new maps such as; new Brackets map made by Virale, new Mario Bros War Map made by 4ao, and a new Feast map made by DaanB!
December 2020
And for the last month of this year, we’ve got 2 new amazing builders. Alkemystix & ZeePog managed to pass their trial with a stunning CRR Map and many other builds . We’ve been also producing new Kitpvp maps wich the Devs have been adding to Kit for the last 4 weeks (Casual, Events, etc…) You can currently play those maps, so go check it out! We hope you like them!
