[Idea] Revive Topic Panel
Recently, I saw something on the forums when browsing which was a Revive Topic Panel! Currently, the Revive Topic Panel looks like this:
It looks different for dark theme users :)
Typically, it shows if the post you are about to post on is ~ 6 months old or older. However, I had a couple of ideas / suggestions for the panel! 
Note: I don’t know if any of these are possible via Discourse; if not, please tell me ;-;
Suggestion 1: Post Age
From what I’ve seen, most unintentional necro-posts occur within the 6-month range. Therefore, my suggestion was to make it so this date was changed to help decrease the number of necroposts!
Here’s why I think this would be beneficial:
- It could help reduce the number of necroposts
- It would be a cool addition!
Suggestion 2: Verification
This idea is where you would be required to select a box-like thing that verifies you know it’s going to bump the post up, like this:
Replying to this post will bump the post up.
NOTE: This suggestion is the one I’m not sure about. I’m not 100% sure if this is doable.
The only downside I see to this is all forum users should already know the rules, but it’s still a great idea!
