ELO graphing

Hello! I’m a visual learner and I love to see everything in the form of a graph or image. I have been interested in my path to a high ELO for a long time, so I decided to find out exactly what it looked like.

I started at around 1400 ELO, lost some matches and dropped to exactly 1000 ELO. This is an interactive graph of my first 100 matches starting at 1000 ELO:

Graph of 100 matches

The x-axis is the number of matches and the y-axis is the ELO that I had after that match. The dots represent a single match. The smooth curve is the logarithmic trend line.

Here are some stats that I gathered from this graph:

1000-1100 ELO took me 6 matches
1100-1200 ELO took me 7 matches and I died once
1200-1300 ELO took 11 matches with zero deaths
1300-1400 ELO was 26 matches with three losses
1400-1500 ELO took me 34 matches with zero losses
1500-1555 ELO was a total of 16 matches
In 100 matches I started at 1000 and added 555 ELO
My record was 96-4
The total amount of ELO I lost was 31
I gained a total of 586 ELO

I am planning on continuing this project, as I am already 150 matches in. I will continue to update this post as I play more and more ranked matches.
